Music Notes.

While most of the Justin Bieber crazed world was dying to buy his Christmas album, I was impatienly waitng for the release of Michael Buble's....

I love Christmas, I love Christmas music, I love the classics; I love ones with a modern twist and Michael combines them all so beautifully. I'm especially obsessed with his version of Mariah's All I Want For Christmas Is You. It makes me so happy for this time of year! Another one of my favorite Christmas albums to listen to comes from one of my favorite movies Love Actually.

Not all the songs are Christmas songs but because I love this movie I automatically relate them with Christmas. If you haven't seen the movie I highly suggest you see it...it's wonderful.

Music Notes.

Some of my favorite up beat happy-feel-good songs are by Mat Kearney. Seriously, I can never listen to his music without smiling.  Since my last Music Notes post was about Josh Rouse's mellow music I thought Mat Kearney was a good choice for this week.

I just bought his latest album "Young Love" and thought to myself  "Why don't I own his other albums?" I could have spent a fortune buying them all, I just love the uniqueness of his music.

So far my favorite song off this album is Count On Me and from other albums are Closer to Love and Undeniable.

Music Notes.

We must learn to enjoy a wide range of music simply because music is beautiful but also because it makes for great conversation. I enjoy a lot of different genres, classic rock being one of my favorites, but have grown to love others. Open your mind and try to find new artists or genres outside your comfort zone. The greatest part about itunes is that you can listen to the song before you purchase it...so don't buy something you don't particularly like (for those of you who are impulsive).

Currently, one of my favorite Cd's is Nashville by Josh Rouse.

It's relaxing, catchy, every song is great, and it's pleasant to listen to if its pouring rain or warm and sunny (which are truly the best Cd's). Somehow I stumbled across him and haven't stopped loving this album since. If my life depended on it-- I would tell you Winter in the Hamptons , My Love Has Gone , and Saturday are my favorite tracks.

It may or may not be your new favorite.
